As someone with nearly 20,000 Twitter followers, I often get asked how I get so many followers. first, I’d like to say that there are many different methods to getting followers but for this article, I’d like to focus on how to get quality followers. Quality followers are the ones that really make a difference to you and not spammers or bots that you will not benefit from in any way.
Your first step is to think about why you want to have so many Twitter followers. Then you also need to think about what “so many” means to you. do you just want to be able to blast your spam out to as many people as possible? if so, then Twitter is probably not the best source for you.
Do you want to be able to converse and socialize with people? do you want to meet like-minded people, search for potential employees for your business or keep in contact with clients or customers that you already have? if any of these reasons sound like you, then you have chosen the right platform.
Twitter is a numbers game; the more you have, the more people want you. however, this may not actually be helpful to you. if you’re being followed by a bunch of spammers, porn accounts and other negative accounts, it will discourage people from following you. they may think you’re just a bot as well. many people on Twitter also discourage auto-following and other automated actions so if people think that’s what you’re doing, many quality Twitterers will not follow you.
